Price of admission + price of food + parking + ride tickets or bracelet = The average nevada County family can not afford to take their family. Really, way to go in making this fair equally available to all!

I just returned from Idaho and will be attending the fair this evening (Saturday). I am looking forward to seeing all the exhibits and listening to some of the bands. I better get ready to leave now!

I attended the fair on Saturday evening. It was a blast. I loved the photographs and the youth exhibits. I always enjoy looking at the decorated cakes, even the ugly ones. I took a 2nd place ribbon but will try for a 1st place next year! Great Job this year as always!

Well, the fair is behind us for another year. We have been attending annually for almost thirty years. My daughter had a question I couldn't answer. Who is the new swine area and show ring named for? Thanks, and we'll be at the Draft Horse Classic in September!

I picked up my exhibits today and collected my check. I had a wonderful time at the fair. Now I am looking forward to the Draft Horse Classic.

I sure had a great time at the fair. I am already thinking about what items to exhibit next year. Next I am looking forward to the Draft Horse Classic. I love the gentle giants, they are so regal with their long manes and tails.

Hi Nancy,
The new Whitney Pavilion is named after Art and Caroline Whitney who have been long-time supporters of the Fair, and who have made significant contributions to the Fair and the livestock community. Hope that helps, and hope you enjoyed the Fair.

Nevada County Fairgrounds are THE most beautiful
in all of California! I am going to the Draft Horse Classic on Sunday for my birthday.... I hope it doesn't sell out!! I'm glad the fairgrounds are still available for events even in this down economy. Keep up the good work! My children and I thank you!
