Recognized as “California’s Most Beautiful Fairgrounds” and rated as one of the top 10 rural fairs in America, the Nevada County Fairgrounds is situated among 3,000 pine trees on more than 100 acres. In addition to the annual Fair, it is the home of the Draft Horse Classic and Harvest Fair as well as the Country Christmas Faire. During your next visit to Nevada County, we hope you’ll include a visit to the Nevada County Fairgrounds – either to visit one of our many events or to simply stroll the beautiful grounds.

I am really looking forward to entering something new in the fair this year.
My family hatched a new baby ducky who is now 2 weeks old. "Cotton Eyed Joe" is really spoiled and has to be next to someone at all times or he breaks into a fitful peeping. He doesn't know he is a duck because he is the only duck we have. I think "Cotton" will be a winner at the fair and all the kids will love him because he is so friendly and tame.
I can't wait to enter my candy again this year. What a treat to have won in my division last year! There is alot of talent around here and it really shows this time of the year.
