Heralded as the premier Draft Horse Show in the Western United States, the 2009 Draft Horse Classic will feature the draft horse performances that have been drawing crowds for more than 22 years. In addition to the spectacular performances by the Gentle Giants, there will be art, events, and entertainment for all to enjoy. - Country Christmas Faire

Begin your holiday season with a small-town glimpse of Christmas at the 25th annual Country Christmas Faire. Rated as one of the top handcrafted shows in Northern California, the Faire features unique gifts from more than 100 top artisans. Visitors will enjoy strolling live entertainment, festival foods, Santa and his elves, and a community bon-fire.

The theme for the 2009 Nevada County Fair is "A Hare's Magical A-Fair!" See you at the Fair!
I have stayed at the camgrounds on several occasions including the Draft Horse Classic several times. I have always been impressed by the quality of cleanliness and maintenance at the campgrounds that rival even the most expensive private campgrounds.

I have not been to the County fair in many years after moving away from the area. But will be coming back to GV this year for the fair. When will this year's headliners entertainment be annouced or where can I find the schedule?

Our arena features an event each night - Monster Trucks, Rodeo, Demolition Derby, etc. As for entertainment, there are five stages on the Fairgrounds, and they feature life, on-going entertainment during the duration of the Fair. Again, the daily schedule will identify the names of the bands/entertainment venues performing on the various stages and their various dates/times. Hope that helps.
